Dr Piotr Kominiak has graduated from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland. He has obtained the second degree specialization in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. He currently works in the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. The surgeons of the Department perform around 1600 operations a year, Dr Kominiak providing more than 300 operations himself. He practices a full range of orthopaedic and traumatologic procedures with the emphasis on knee and shoulder arthroscopic reconstructive surgery, joint replacements and traumatology. In the private sector he is based in Dom Lekarski, performing more then 200 arthroscopic surgeries of knee and shoulder a year.
He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Orthopaedics (nr 6142878) and is a member of Polish Traumatologic and Orthopaedic Society, Polish Sports Traumatology Society and European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedic Sports Traumatology.
As a regular attendee of both national and international meetings and congresses, he is confident treating a wide range of difficult and complicated cases. His personal approach has positioned him as one of the top orthopaedists who is popular with patients. He speaks fluent English.
