Dr Ireneusz Walaszek has graduated with honours from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland. He has obtained the General Surgeon Specialist and the Ph.D. titles in medical science and European Diploma in Hand Surgery granted by Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FEESH). He currently works as an assistant professor at the General and Hand Surgery Department at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. His duties include: supervision of younger fellows during their medical work, training students and younger fellow medical doctors in the field of microsurgery, hand surgery and general surgery and active performance of the surgeries in the above mentioned fields. We were proud to welcome dr. Walaszek in our team last year, in 2006. He is on the GMC Specialist Register. He gained experience working in many hospitals abroad, in the UK, USA and India included. The long list of international congresses and courses that he took part in proves dr. Walaszek is able to provide the most professional medical service possible. He speaks fluent English.
